Daily Portraits – The First 100 Days

On June 12, 2009, the twins’ fourth birthday, I began taking a daily portrait of Swee’Pea and TheMonk. Today marked the 100th day since their birthday. In those 100 days, over 14 weeks, I have missed a total of 12 days. Not bad, in my opinion. Below is all 88 photos for both Swee’Pea and TheMonk. You can see that Swee’Pea has begun to warm up to the photos and TheMonk enjoys engaging the camera in different ways. Enjoy.

  2. They are TOO adorable. I love how TheMonk has those wristbands and his lovey in many photos. I love seeing all of Swee’Pea’s different moods and hairstyles. Can’t wait to see the next set of 100!

  5. Wow that’s a lot of clothes! IT took until day 14 before you repeated a t shirt! YES I am super weird for noticing that! Carry on!

  6. OMG they are so cute! TheMonk makes me wish I would have had a son. The pic with the sunglasses on his head is priceless.

  7. Love the gallery and great idea. You can see The Monk’s face change somewhere in between pages 6 and 7 and now he looks like a boy and not so baby faced. Made me a little sad. And if your daughter ever loses that pink cat, I am sure that some kind of hell will rain down on your house.

Also, I am very impressed that you only missed 12 days. I can hardly remember where I placed my car keys and you are photographing your kids! That is awesome.

  8. They are too cute! I like Swee’Pea’s hair pulled back. You can see more of her beautiful face! TheMonk looks like Ben when he was young. You are truly blessed!
