Dance like nobody’s watching

If there’s one thing I want my kids to take with them into this world it’s that living life to its fullest means not caring what others think and to embrace the joy that permeates our lives on a daily basis. One way the kids have taken that to heart is through dancing. From an early age, they have danced with me and it has always been a lot of fun watching their latest moves.

With that in mind, I have been noticing that Swee’Pea and TheMonk have been getting their groove on more and more lately. It’s been so much fun watching, I decided to video their dancing (and join in a little bit, as well). Enjoy.

  16. I’m with Theresa–I’m totally crying. But not in a bad way of course.

I’m just so happy for them. I’ve watched them grow up and they are both such fabulous and amazing kids. And you’re SUCH a wonderful father. Just seeing you all dancing together was so touching, especially after everything that has been going on.

    This really warmed my heart.

  21. This has inspired me to tape some moves of me and my 3 year old. You three are really “cuttin’ the rug” as my grandpappy would of said. Keep up the awesome fathering Matthew. Your children obviously absolutely adore you.

  27. I have been struggling to come to terms with the possibility of job loss in our family, selling our home, and moving, but watching your video with the kids made me realize that all I need is right in front of me. Keep up the good work with your kids. You are being as good a parent that I aim to be.
