July 20, 2008

A picture is worth a thousand words a twin stroller.

One of my favorite pastimes is taking pictures of Swee’Pea and TheMonk.  Even more fun is going back and looking at some photos and the joy it brings to me knowing that I survived that time how much fun that time in our lives was.

So when the nice people at Chicco, the Italian juvenile products and toy company, approached me about giving away a free twin stroller here, I thought I’d do a contest surrounding photos.  The stroller is a double stroller for sizes birth to 40 lbs.  It retails for $219 and is a good travel stroller as it folds up compactly. It looks like this:

Trevi Twin Extreme Stroller

So, here’s the contest… First, I really want the winner to put this stroller to good use. So, extra points if you have multiples or two small children close together in age. Second, I would like you to submit your favorite photo for consideration. You can present it any way you like but a caption that best describes the photo would be great (see below for examples). You can either email me with it (address is on my sidebar to the right) or you can provide a link to your blog in the comments section. If you are currently pregnant and don’t have a photo of your kids, you can provide photo evidence of said pregnancy. Everything will be considered.

The contest ends at 11:59 p.m. PST on Friday, July 25th. Good luck!

Here’s some of my photos that would warrant consideration…

  2. Oh my, I love those pictures. The last one is so dang cute.

The stroller is dang cute, but I don’t need a double one. Thank god. ;)

  4. I don’t need a twin stroller, so I won’t enter, but those pictures are SOOOOO cute! They are adorable.

  5. The twin stroller would’ve been nice for Disneyland. It would have kept Ane from whining about walking while tired. Still, making her walk built character… right?

Thankfully, I have no need of a double stroller. Of course, you’ll be among the first to know if that changes. :)

  6. just wanted to say that I have the Chicco KeyFit Travel System and LOVE it. It’s been so awesome because it’s so light weight so I can use without S.O. around. Not to mention when installing the car seat the police office RAVED about it and said he often uses this in his demonstrations.

That being said, I haven’t found any convertible car seats made by them. Am I not looking in the right place or have they not come out with any yet? If they have, do you have any suggestions?

  7. If you give me the stroller, I’ll split the ebay proceeds with you 50/50, and the Chicco people will be none the wiser.

  10. My twins have moved beyond stroller stage as well, but I’d be remiss not to fawn over the precious photos of Swee’Pea and the Monk. Darling x 2.

Thanks for popping by my blog. I visit here often, will try to comment with more respectable/commensurate frequency. Love that precociously feminine toe point on that last image. Adorable.

  11. Ok – I figure we’ve got about 12 months left in a stroller – and we’ve got a Disney trip in December in which I KNOW we’ll need a stroller. Plus, it was so fun going back through all of our “favorite” twin photos. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  12. Awwww, those are GREAT pics of TheMonk and Swee’Pea, they look so tiny in those. Isn’t it amazing how utterly fast time goes by?!

    Hugs & Blessings!

  13. We’ve got a trip planned to Disney as well and that stroller would be perfect. No twins here, but there’s no way my 3 year old will be able to walk all day (especially since he’s got orthepedic inserts in his shoes – some sympathy please) so that stroller would be perfect for him and his little brother!
Anyway…here’s a link to my favorite picture of the two of ‘em.
    Hope I win!!!

  14. Ok so no twins here although, my daughter is only 11 weeks and we are hoping to have another within the year SO it would be a good thing to have to stroller for when munchkin number two comes along!
Check out the blog for her pic!
