Okay, here’s the situation…

I have been on my new job for over a week now and I’m frickin’ tired. I’m not sure if taking two weeks off before starting this job was such a good idea. I mean I go from taking more naps than Swee’Pea and TheMonk to full on, non-stop, go-go-go, days.

For the past week, upon arriving at home, I’d spend what little energy I had playing with the twins, put them to bed, eat a little dinner and… do more work. As you can imagine, that left little time to blog.

So tonight I decided to get back on the exercise bandwagon as the holidays really messed up my schedule (too many naps will do that to you). I did a fast workout (had to get home in time for American Idol) and I already feel energized.

So, hopefully as things settle down on the work area, I’ll find the time to share more stories. And as a bonus, the titles of my posts will be from lyrics of 80′s songs – starting with this one. If you want to play along, let me know your guess from what song the lyrics come from. (Sarah should be good at this.)

  3. Jimbo’s right, it’s Parents Just Don’t Understand by DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince…

Wow, does THAT bring me back.

  4. Those guys beat me to it, but just wait until next time. I swear from 1982 – 1991 I pretty much just went to school and watched MTV.

  5. LOL. Having teen age flashbacks remembering Jazzy Jeff…lol.

I’m still trying to recover from the holidays and my laid back schedule too!

  6. I can completely sympathize, while I work at home the holidays REALLY screwed with my work schedule and now they’re over I have absolutely no reason what so ever to “take a little break” which inevitably turns in to a couple of hours spent staring at the TV or napping. Here’s to getting back on schedule and back in to the gym!

  7. Is this because you wore a plaid shirt with a butterfly collar to work?

Too bad the gym is so far from your place of business!
