What’s good for the goose…

When toys are introduced in our household, it’s rare when a toy belongs solely to Swee’Pea or TheMonk. Usually each toy becomes a communal toy that is open game for whoever gets to it first.

Granted, there is often some debate about who actually reached the toy first – and when I say “debate” I mean Swee’Pea beating TheMonk into submission with whatever toy is being contested.

Nonetheless, it is a testament to the fact they know they can play with any toy in the box.

But every now and then there’s a toy that gets presented to us that most obviously is meant for either TheMonk or Swee’Pea.

Well, I guess it’s obvious to me. Maybe it isn’t that obvious to others…

  1. If you’re not careful, TheMonk could end up passing for a girl, he’s THAT cute. Quick! Give him a truck!

Pink hearts? Swee’Pea all the way. :)

  9. Well, it’s obvious The Monk is pretty, but if he were smart
as well, he’d hide this picture before his first girlfriend
    comes over.

  10. Oh wow…I didn’t realize that the bottom picture was the monk until I saw sweet pea…oops…Hmm I wonder if those came with the princess shoes…my daughter has a whole set…same exact earrings but her’s came with these princess heels, tiara and necklace. Those dang heels drove me crazy clacking all over the hardwood floors.

  11. To really pull it off, he should switch to a shirt with more pastels instead of orange.

  12. Lurker, delurking….love your recounts of your toddlers (my son is also 2). Those pics are freakin’ adorable. My sone carries around a pink Minnie Mouse bag that he permanently borrowed from the daycare provider’s daughter. It’s his library bag.
