What kind of TV Parent are you?

If you had to compare yourself to one TV parent, who would it be?

Mrs. Brady? or Roseanne?

Heathcliff Huxtable? or Homer Simpson?

  1. Debra Barone of “Everybody Loves Raymond” - except my in-laws don’t live across the street, my husband really is an only child, and I am a pretty good cook. I miss that show.

  3. I think I am a bit of Roseanne and a bit of Clair Huxtable. Roseanne is sarcastic and a smart ass; She laughs with her kids (and at them sometimes). Claire is in touch with her children and finds the humor in everyday life and is sassy while still being a loving parent.

  5. I’m not sure if the comparison works, but my favorite TV dad is Rob Petrie (from The Dick Van Dyke Show). I may be a little Mike Brady too, but I hope not in the annoying way.

  7. I think I’m a cross between Roseanne (for the sarcasm, loud voice and incredible wit) and Claire Huxtable too. I like to be in touch with my kids without smothering them, I have an inate ability to laugh at them, and occasionally even with them, although its more likely to be at them.

    It’s so hard to pick because I think I even have a bit of Marge Simpson in there somewhere.
