My mom used to say that she knew that doing what was right for her was also what was right for us, because the most “right” thing she could imagine for herself was us the happiest and healthiest she could help us be.

Just keep doing what you’re doing. I think that when you make choices with your children’s best in mind, you’re doing the best you can and that’s always enough.
