I love when they start doing it after ton of work on our part and they barely acknowledge they are doing it now. Our son figured out how to wake up dry most nights after months of us working on it and was just like “Whatever. We all knew I would learn it someday.”

Also this day in history…30 years ago the Redneck was presented with a little sister sibling. She took one look at her and in her three year old wisdom asked if we could trade the baby for a puppy.

Thirty years later, I’m still down with that offer.

I’m trying not to be jealous.

And, at the same time, I’m assured that there is hope for my Bruise. (At this point, I’m about to plan to send him to college with some Depends or something. )
